RE-HEAT Course

2-Day RE-HEAT Course (Theory and Field Training) 

This intensive two-day Refresher – Hostile Environment Awareness Training (Re-HEAT) course blends modern, adult-learning sessions with hands-on field scenarios. 

Day 1 includes a didactic refresher of all materials covered in HEAT. 

Day 2 combines theory from Day 1 with practical refresher training sessions in Actions-On Direct and Indirect Fire, Comportment at Checkpoints, Explosive Risk Awareness, Situational Awareness, Passenger Emergency Driving Techniques, Escaping Restraints, Introduction to Self Defense, Detention and Kidnap Survival, and Pre-hospital Casualty Stabilization exercises. 

This is a recertification course for individuals whose 3-year HEAT certification has lapsed. 

Both HEAT and Re-HEAT courses are ideal for individuals deploying to Moderate-to-High-Risk environments.

Day 2: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
