Jodi Cheek joins Sigma7 to lead Human Resources

New York, NY, September 21, 2022 — Risk information and services company Sigma7 today named Jodi Cheek Vice President of Human Resources, a new executive leadership position for the rapidly scaling organization. Ms. Cheek joined Sigma7 from Descours & Cabaud, a France- based global distributor of construction materials, where she was North America HR Director.

In her new position, Ms. Cheek will design and implement a world-class people operation, including establishing HR and professional development processes and building a highly desired employment brand. Ms. Cheek will help ensure a collaborative culture, bringing together the best practices of the companies that are part of Sigma7’s managed risk model, Paragon Risk Engineering, RWH Myers, Strategia Worldwide, Risk & Strategic Management, Corp. and Intelligence Fusion.

The company intends to conduct significant recruitment for new positions within operating companies and at a corporate level. Launched in May 2022, Sigma7 offers extensive technical, sector and geographic risk expertise, currently serving over 400 clients globally from employee bases in nine countries.

Ms. Cheek has more than 20 years’ experience designing HR principles and practices in early- stage companies. At Armacell LLC, a leading manufacturer of engineered foams, she served as a global thought leader and owner of the Americas region people development pillar. She has established and directed HR functions for complex multi-divisional and multi-national organizations and led HR due diligence and business integration for several acquisitions during her career.

Ms. Cheek earned a BS in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University and an MBA from Meredith College. She resides in Raleigh, North Carolina where she was a Founding Board Member, and current member, of the Triangle CHRO Association, an elite group of HR leaders within major corporations.
