London, UK, March 31, 2026 — Sigma7, the global risk management company, today announced the appointment of Nicolae Reutoi as Head of Disputes for its Business Intelligence division. Nico’s promotion reinforces the firm’s commitment to providing clients with industry-leading support in complex litigation, asset recovery and cross-border investigations across high-risk jurisdictions.
Since joining Alaco in 2014—an investigative consultancy that became part of Sigma7 Business Intelligence through acquisition—Nicolae has built a track record of managing multifaceted disputes across the FSU, Europe, Latin America and Africa. His portfolio spans high value asset tracing and enforcement mandates, contentious shareholder disputes, and fraud investigations. Nicolae holds a MA in International Relations from King’s College London and a BSc in Business and Russian from Trinity College Dublin.
Sigma7’s decision to elevate Nicolae comes at a time when organisations in sectors such as defence, energy, life sciences and technology confront increasingly complex legal and geopolitical challenges. By placing Nicolae at the helm of its disputes practice, Sigma7 aims to accelerate the delivery of actionable insights that translate directly into measurable business outcomes.
Commenting on the appointment, Ambrose Carey, head of Sigma7 Business Intelligence, said, “Nico has consistently demonstrated an extraordinary ability to navigate contested environments and turn information into strategic advantage for our clients. His leadership will ensure that our disputes practice continues to set the benchmark for rigour, integrity and speed.
