Chris Blice is a retired North Carolina educator and school district administrator with more than 45 years of experience in public education. Most recently, he served as Assistant Superintendent for Operations for Chatham County Schools, where his responsibilities included facilities, transportation, strategic planning, administrative support, and school safety and security.
During his district leadership tenure, Chris helped develop and implement a comprehensive approach to school security that included ongoing security staff development, monthly campus security assessments, emergency preparedness, and structured reunification practices. He also helped establish a collaborative mutual aid agreement among Chatham County public, private, and charter schools to support coordinated reunification following a crisis event.
Chris previously served as a high school principal and was recognized multiple times as a regional and district Principal of the Year, including twice as a finalist for North Carolina Principal of the Year. He holds a Master of School Administration from East Carolina University, a Master of Music from Morehead State University, and a Bachelor of Science from Limestone College.
