Our trainers can run in house training, centralized training courses or provide personalized training as webinars. We can also run leadership mentoring programs for bespoke learning and capacity building programs.

Sigma7 offers both accredited and certified training programs, including:

  • Risk Leadership Training:  a range of Risk Leader certified and accredited programs for executives and managers, including ILM certification and accreditation – up to an ILM Level 6 award. Training can be conducted online, through remote mentors, or in person – or as a blended learning solution, including all three training approaches.
  • Train the Trainer (Instructor Development): online certification programs through our Methods of Instruction program. We offer online certification programs, remote mentored ILM-certified Train the Trainer programs, as well as instructor-led ILM certification programs. Our Train the Trainer programs can assist instructors implement training on any topic of instruction.
  • Driver Instructor and Evaluator Training: instructor and evaluator training programs for senior drivers and instructors. We build internal capacity of instructors, and focus on SAFE DRIVER and driver behaviour, performance and standards evaluation and monitoring.
  • Family Liaison Officer’s Program: HRCI and SHRM accredited program to develop the knowledge and capacity of Family Liaison Officers who are responsible for supporting staff member families during a crisis, as well as concurrently representing the wider interests of the organization. This course includes best practices as well as highly useful scenario based training, including the use of professional role players.
  • ISO 22301 Lead Auditor’s Program: We are a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO risk and resiliency related standards (22301, 31000 and 27001) and runs leadership programs on how to run internal audits to address minor and major non-conformities, opportunities for improvement, and the associated corrective actions; as well as how to identify, assess, engage with and manage external auditors.
  • Event Risk Management Program: certified event risk management programs for leaders responsible for planning and hosting events at their facilities or off-site, or who plan trips and activities which might be prone to risks. The leadership program also looks at the role of the Trip Team Leader for events hosted by others which staff may attend.
  • Youth Risk Management Program: ILM and HRCI and SHRM certified programs on Youth Risk Management, addressing organizational business resiliency and continuity needs, how to plan for and respond to likely emergency situations, how to plan for and conduct youth events and trips, how to provide safety and security briefs, and the codes of conduct for adults supporting youth events, as well as participating youth.
Certified Leadership Programs and eLearning Packages
  • Security Focal Point and Security Manager Training [ILM, SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    This online, self-paced program equips security professionals and non-specialists alike with the leadership skills and technical knowledge required to manage safety, security, and continuity risks across operational settings. With certifications from ILM, SHRM, and HRCI, the curriculum covers strategic, operational, and tactical risk management, aligned to ISO standards. It includes 7 mandatory and up to 17 elective modules, available in multiple languages, with the flexibility to build a tailored learning path or select from 300+ additional courses.

  • Mini-Brief Learning Series

    This micro-learning program of 40+ modules provides 10-20 minute learning opportunities in 10+ languages on key areas of safety and security. The topics range from human-made threats to natural risks. Organizations can select 1 new language each year and can also request 2 universally useful topics to be created based against common needs annually. Every new language and module selected by other organizations will also be offered at no cost.

  • Family Liaison During a Crisis [ILM, SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    Family liaison is critical during a crisis involving personnel. This program trains staff on how to safeguard the well-being of employees and their families while protecting organizational interests. The core course includes 5 required modules (4 hours) and up to 11 elective modules (10 hours). ILM certification and up to 14 SHRM/HRCI credits are available. Participants can customize their learning path and access content in various languages.

  • Fleet Management and Safe Driver Training [SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    Transport is one of the highest-risk activities across operations. This course builds capability in fleet safety, vehicle oversight, and driver risk management. It includes 10 mandatory and 5 elective modules (6 SHRM/HRCI credits), with instruction on travel safety, instructor development, and preventative vehicle systems. Courses are self-paced and multilingual.

  • Fraud, Corruption, and Ethical Violations Investigations[ILM, SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    This program provides essential skills to identify, investigate, and manage fraud or ethics-related incidents. Designed for operational leaders and compliance personnel, the course includes 5 required and 8 elective modules, totaling 4–7 hours of learning. It emphasizes practical response, risk mitigation, and organizational reputation protection. ILM-certified with up to 11 SHRM/HRCI credits.

  • Chiefs of Party and Country Director Risk Leadership [SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    Senior field leaders are the ultimate risk owners in complex environments. This program strengthens their ability to manage safety, security, continuity, and operational disruptions. Participants gain core knowledge in risk oversight, regulatory responsibilities, and leadership in high-risk areas, including travel safety and crisis response.

  • Crisis Management Leadership Team Program [SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    This scenario-based program prepares executive teams for immediate crisis response. Training modules are designed to support proactive learning or just-in-time decision support during an unfolding event. The curriculum covers foundational leadership activation as well as guidance for 18 specific crisis scenarios, including active shooter, natural disasters, cyber incidents, and reputational threats.

  • Program Management Risk Leadership [SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    Designed for program managers working internationally, this course develops critical skills for protecting personnel and achieving operational continuity. Modules include travel risk management, stakeholder coordination, facility selection, crisis response, and post-incident recovery. The program enables participants to build more resilient programs and teams.

  • Train-the-Trainer and Methods of Instruction [LM, SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    This course helps leaders develop and deliver effective training through proven instructional design and facilitation methods. Participants complete 5 mandatory and 2 elective modules (up to 3 hours) to earn ILM and HR credentialing. Ideal for professionals looking to standardize internal training or support knowledge transfer across field teams.

  • Senior Risk and Business Continuity Leadership [ILM, SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    This comprehensive program equips business continuity leaders with the skills needed to support risk and resilience across departments and geographies. The curriculum includes 9 core and 46 elective courses (5–33 hours total), focusing on ISO-aligned standards, emergency planning, risk communication, and operational recovery. Offered in multiple languages, with customizable paths and ILM/HR credentialing.

  • Event Risk Management [ILM, SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    Events present unique security risks and liabilities. This course prepares planners and managers to assess venues, protect attendees, and plan for disruptive incidents. It includes 5 core and 10 elective modules (up to 10 hours) and covers threat analysis, crowd safety, crisis communication, and more. Certified by ILM, SHRM, and HRCI.

  • Youth Program Risk Management [ILM, SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    This course helps leaders protect youth participants and staff, manage legal obligations, and respond to incidents involving minors. Topics include family engagement, crisis response, safeguarding procedures, and managing reputational risks. Participants complete 6 core and 9 elective modules (up to 8 hours total), earning ILM and HR certifications.

  • Trip Team Leader Safety Program [SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    Short-term deployments present elevated risks for small teams. This program trains designated team leads to manage safety, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with headquarters during field travel. It includes 3 mandatory and 2 elective modules (4 hours total), with multilingual support and HR credentialing.

  • Remote Medical Casualty Stabilization [SHRM, HRCI Certified]

    This practical first aid and trauma management course prepares personnel to stabilize injuries in remote or crisis-affected locations. Topics include bleeding control, CPR, burn treatment, mass casualty triage, and PTSD awareness. Designed for non-medical professionals working far from immediate care.
