Sigma7 Acquires Risk & Strategic Management, Corp.

New York, NY, June 20, 2022 — Fast-growing risk services company Sigma7 has acquired Virginia-based Risk & Strategic Management, Corp. (RSM), a full-service risk and business continuity, management services, and training organization. Transaction terms were not disclosed.

RSM is a world leader in developing and producing advanced leadership and staff training solutions to help organizations meet duty of care, capacity building, organizational resiliency and crisis management needs. It offers extensive accredited, security-oriented training packages, delivered through e-learning formats as well as immersive experiences at its 87-acre training facility. The company works with a wide range of commercial corporations across industry sectors, humanitarian aid agencies, faith-based groups and government agencies.

In joining Sigma7, RSM adds to three other best-in-class risk services brands, Strategia Worldwide, Paragon Risk Engineering and RWH Myers, as foundational brands on the platform. Sigma7’s strategy is to deliver independent, world-class risk expertise across risk domains, with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes. The addition of RSM extends Sigma7’s capabilities, talent and client-base.

RSM founder Dr. Mike Blyth will continue leading the company as CEO, and all employees, contractors and advisors will remain in place.
