April 1, 2026 – We are pleased to announce that Martin Cote has accepted the role as Country Manager – Canada, reporting to Jesse Cardin, Managing Director, Risk Engineering.
Martin is based in the Greater Toronto Area and will manage the Canadian risk engineering operations. Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He brings over 25 years of industry experience, including 17 years in property risk engineering.
Prior to joining Sigma 7 in 2023, he worked as a risk consultant at FM and Aon. He is recognized for his technical expertise and for building strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
His role will include the leadership and development of the Canadian team of property risk engineers, technical guidance, and supporting key client relationships – helping ensure the success of both his team and Sigma 7.
